Once the site is built:
We will take time to guide you through the maintenance of your site, meaning you can add content as and when necessary (if necessary). Depending on your package, you will have a period where we can add whatever detail you require.
If you are struggling after this period, we can continue to make any amendments or updates for a small hourly fee**.
**It is worth pointing out that the upkeep and addition of material to your site is pretty straightforward once you are up and running, so we do not expect you to have ANY difficulties.
At the end of the hosting, you simply pay to renew your license. There is no extra design work required unless you specifically decide to amend the look of your site, this will cost extra.
As well as the above, if you require any additional help in creating your own app, extra artwork, social networking accounts or anything you have seen elsewhere we will be glad to do it for you for a small hourly fee.
You must follow the instructions to set up your mails. If your mails do not work on your own device, then use the webmail to check the server/emails on-line to see they are functioning. If that works, then you have configured your machine incorrectly and will have to speak to someone to set it up for you, or pay for WardsWebsites to provide tech assist. This is not part of the service we provide in building your site.
Back ups and Updates
The internet moves along at a rapid pace and upgrades for plug ins and themes are always being released. If you have full access to the back end of your site, then it is not recommended you update anything related to the site unless you are 100% sure it will not affect the performance and look. WardsWebsites cannot be held responsible for any changes made by you that create issues. If something within your site suddenly changes without you doing anything, then we are required to fix it, of course.
Backups of your site are provided as part of the service.
Terms and conditions:
Unlimited web space is available for genuine web site content, content must be linked into web pages. Customers are prohibited from using the server as a file/backup repository. Customers are expected to employ good house keeping when maintaining their account.
WardsWebsites operates a fair use policy and therefore offers unrestricted use of bandwidth. However, should your bandwidth reach the points where it has an adverse affect on other clients we reserve the right to disable your site until you can reduce your bandwidth usage.
You will be responsible for the content of your pages, including obtaining the legal permission for any works they include and ensuring that the contents of these pages do not violate UK law.
You will be held responsible for and accept responsibility for any defamatory, confidential, secret or other proprietary material available via your page(s).
Web hosting accounts are prohibited from hosting file distribution websites (including but not limited to music, video and software), adult content orientated websites, graphics or cgi scripts for other websites (affiliate scheme ads and links are ok to use and run) and storing pages, files or data as a repository for other websites or personal computers.
We reserve the right to remove material deemed inappropriate from your web pages, without prior notice. WardsWebsites do not allow adult, warez or illegal MP3 web sites on our servers.
Unsolicited Email or “spam” originating from a server located on our network or associated with a WardsWebsites server is not tolerated. This includes any email that promotes websites hosted on a server located on the WardsWebsites network, but is sent from an email address not associated with that account. The client shall not use their WardsWebsites services for chain letters, junk mail, bulk-email, or any use of distribution lists to any person who has not given specific permission to be included in such a process. WardsWebsites reserves the right to deactivate or terminate any account(s) upon any indication of such activity without notice.
Your server space and ftp account is for your personal use only. You must not divulge the password to any other person, and you should take reasonable precautions to ensure that it is not discovered by other people.
Data stored on our servers is not guaranteed to be backed up. It is recommended that you keep an independent backup of all data stored on your web space.
We shall not be held liable for any loss or damages caused by the use or misuse, unavailability or removal of services.
When your account is closed, all files (including web pages, etc.) will be deleted. If you require a copy of your content and/or entire site to move to another provider, there will be an admin charge of £75.v
We reserve the right to cancel your account at any time without notice.
We reserve the right to amend and update these Terms and Conditions at any time without notice.
To protect your privacy we never distribute your name or e-mail address to any third parties.
** By logging into your account, or uploading files to it, you are indicating your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.**
Cancellation and Refunds
If you take out one of our yearly packages we expect you to commit for this period of time. Because of your commitment, we offer a discount on the normal monthly price of our accounts. If you cancel your account within your service period then WardsWebsites will not make any refunds on any unused portions of your account. While we do not offer refunds for pro-rated service (beyond our 60 day money back guarantee which is applicable to annual accounts only) you have no obligation to continue using our service.
Our 60 day money back guarantee (applicable to annual accounts only) excludes the refund of domain name registration fees and secure server certificate purchases.
WardsWebsites reserves the right to cancel the service at any time.
Customer refund requests are to be sent to WardsWebsites and will only be processed in the cases of service non-performance where WardsWebsites is clearly at fault or within our 60 day money back guarantee (applicable to annual accounts only).
Refund requests for problems beyond WardsWebsites’ control will be refused.
Domain transfer failure or Misspelling domains on Registration or Registration of Domains by mistake.
Failure of any third party script or program that’s not supported by WardsWebsites.
A customer’s lack of experience in dealing with web basics and communication protocols.
Customer agrees that it shall defend, indemnify, save and hold WardsWebsites harmless from any and all demands, liabilities, losses, costs and claims, including reasonable solicitors fees asserted against WardsWebsites, its agents, its customers, officers and employees, that may arise or result from any service provided or performed or agreed to be performed or any product sold by customer, its agents, employees or assigns. Customer agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless netmotivated against liabilities arising out of:
(1) any injury to person or property caused by any products sold or otherwise distributed in connection with WardsWebsites’ server.
(2) any material supplied by customer infringing or allegedly infringing on the proprietary rights of a third party.
(3) copyright infringement.
(4) any defective products sold to customer from WardsWebsites’ server.
WardsWebsites will not be responsible for any damages your business may suffer, WardsWebsites makes no warranties of any kind, expressed or implied for services we provide. This includes loss of data resulting from delays, non-deliveries, wrong delivery, viruses and any and all service interruptions caused by WardsWebsites and its employees.
WardsWebsites reserves the right to revise the above terms and conditions at any time.
